July 7, 2021 - NOTICE TO DCHA RESIDENTS AND HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER CLIENTS

Delaware County Housing Authority (DCHA) is in the process of implementing an electronic online Resident/Client Portal which will enable online recertifications in both the Public Housing and Housing Choice Voucher Programs. In person interviews will no longer be required. The portal will also enable residents in DCHA owned units to submit work orders online and make online rent payments. This feature does not apply to HCV clients.

Residents of both programs must register for the Rent Café Portal. Rent Café Portal is accessible on our website at www.dcha1.org. If you are already registered in DCHA’s online Applicant Portal you will not need to re-register for the Resident/Client Portal. Your log in information will give you access to both your applicant information and tenant/client information. Residents who are not registered will receive a letter with instructions on how to register in our Rent Café Portal.

All residents of DCHA owned communities, and clients of our Housing Choice Voucher Program must be registered for the Rent Café Portal by August 31, 2021. Online recertifications in both Public Housing and Housing Choice Voucher Programs will start in September 2021.
