Preference Points
Delaware County Housing Authority uses a HUD approved preference point system to house our applicants. This, plus the date of your application determines your placement on the waiting list. This number can change in either direction, multiple times a day. Applicants will need to accumulate all 12 points (listed below) in order to reach the top of the waiting list and will then be sorted by application date. Preference Points
