Delaware County Housing Authority awarded 46 Emergency Housing Vouchers

Delaware County Housing Authority (DCHA) has been awarded 46 Emergency Housing Vouchers (EHV) by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

Individuals and Families must meet one of the following qualifying categories to be eligible:

- Homeless

- At risk for homeliness

- Fleeing, or attempting to flee, domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, or human trafficking

- Recently homeless and for whom providing rental assistance will prevent the family’s homelessness or having high risk of housing instability.

The verification that an individual or family meets one of these four eligibility categories is conducted by the Delaware County Continuum of Care (CoC) which will make all direct referrals to DCHA for these vouchers. They can be reached at 610-713-2365.
